Is Dr. Daniel the only qualified doc in Salem?

Okay so what is this Daniel guy really doing here? Is he the only doc who can deal with anything like heart conditions, cancer, mysterious conditions like Bo's visions, and now little Theos fall. Geez, the man is so multi- talented we can't even concentrate on the fact he has all sort of relationship issues and he's basically a man ! WHat do u DAYS fans think???
