Is it possible to live in Australia at the age of 44yrs and work ?

I want to immigrant myself to Australia.I've three kids and spouse.They're live inDhaka,Bangladesh.My kids are 11,9 and 1+ yrs old.I'm 44yrs old.I'm a police officer-I've got 21yrs experience.I'm looking for a job over there.Could any one help me ?
