93 Honda CBR 600 F2 Won't Start.. please help?
The first thing you want to do is get a new battery. It is a must have in order to ascertain whether there is another problem hiding in the background.Any electrical test should be done with a fully charged battery, that way you can eliminate the battery as a cause of the problem. My guess is that it is the battery as the bike stayed running after you got a push start...Just a little note of caution...low battery voltage sometimes causes more damage to the charging system than a sudden surge of high voltage. The charging systems on bikes are meant to keep a good battery fresh-not re charge one that has a bad cell-when you use a bad battery, the charging system is constantly on full charge and will burn out either the rectifier or the stator if you continue to ride it in this condition...new battery,75 bucks....a new stator and or rectifier around 500 bucks, your choice
