What do u think of Hilary Duff turning down a role on 90210?

What do u think? It's old news(may 2008 i think) now but oh well. She was offered the part of 'Annie Mills' a music student on 90210. But apparently, she turned it down because she wanted to do something 'outside the teen genre'. She had been my idol since 1999. LOL. I still like her, she's a good role model uptil now. So what do u think? Would she have suited the role?
