What makes God want to make us suffer when he can change us ?

I think he is in us as well as around us. That only makes sense. It is in suffering that even God becomes whole. Since he is perfect he knows no suffering. Matter it'self is suffering as it is finite and must transition to become back to God head. Hmmmm, just some random thoughts.
